Timothy L. Keenen, MD
I had a neck fusion March 19th 2018. I had migraines, numbness and arm pain to the point where I could hardly write my name. Dr. Timothy Keenen did a neck fusion in the front and back of my neck. It is now August 14th 2018 and I feel great. No headaches, no arm numbness and pain.
I had spinal fusion surgery with Dr. Keenen in November and I am so glad I did. Before surgery I had lower back pain every day. As soon as surgery was complete that pain was eliminated. I’m still in physical therapy to strengthen muscles affected by surgery and to increase my stamina.
From the very first visit with Dr. Keenen over my injured back to being released by him after having back surgery by him, Dr. Keenen and his whole staff were top notch. I can’t say enough how Dr. Keenen took the all the time needed to explain to me what the options were and the about the procedure he preformed.
My initial consultation with Dr. Keenen was very informative and pleasant. After meeting Dr. Keenen I came away feeling that his interest was to do whatever the best option was for me, making me feel very comfortable with him. From there through post-surgery my interactions with Dr. Keenen were outstanding.
When we first [met], you told me all about the pro’s and con’s of my proposed back surgery, and I told you I wanted 3 things: 1. I wanted to continue to backpack 2. Carry 30lbs, i.e. my backpack and 3. To still be able to snow ski. You assured me that I would be able to continue to do those things following my surgery.
